1) Age-gating and access controls

• Age confirmation prompts during account creation and/or entry to restricted areas.
• Date of birth collection and checks designed to prevent registration by underage individuals.
• Risk-based controls (e.g., additional checks triggered by inconsistent information, payment risk signals, or suspected underage use).

2) Verification steps (when required)

We may require you to verify your age and identity before allowing continued access, processing withdrawals, or where required by law or our risk controls. Verification may include:

1. Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport or NZ driver licence).
2. A selfie or liveness check to confirm the ID belongs to you.
3. Proof of address (e.g., recent utility bill or bank statement) where appropriate.
4. Electronic checks using trusted verification methods and/or service providers.

We only request information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and protect the platform.

3) Suspected underage users

If we suspect an account is being used by, created for, or associated with a minor, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Temporarily restrict access and/or pause transactions while we investigate.
• Request additional documentation to confirm age and identity.
• Close the account if we cannot confirm eligibility or if underage use is confirmed.
• Handle funds in line with applicable law, our terms, and fraud/risk controls (including voiding access and processing refunds where appropriate and permitted).

4) Minors’ accounts and data

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors for the purpose of providing our services. If an underage account is identified, we will take steps to restrict/close the account and minimise retention of personal information, subject to legal obligations (for example, records we must keep for compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and accounting).
